The polynomial f(x)=x3+cx2+dx−6f(x)=x^3+cx^2+dx-6 satisfies both of the following:

  • (x+2)(x+2) is a factor of f(x)f(x);
  • f(x)f(x) leaves a remainder of 3 when divided by (x−1)(x-1).

Once cc and dd are determined, f(x)f(x) can be written as (x+2)q(x)(x+2)q(x) for some quadratic q(x)q(x). Find the product of the roots of q(x)=0q(x)=0.
